We got to do service at the nature sanctuary in Liberty, which was fun! We all got smoothies together and then pretty much just cut plants and moved cardboard...exciting stuff. I did get to hold a snake though. That was pretty cool.
Not too many people were able to meet with us this week so it was a little slow in that way but boy did we see miracles!
A finally started coming back to church! I think that she went out of town for a couple weeks but now she is back and still wants to be baptized next month! So we are working with her and her fiance (who is a member) to get them ready to baptize her!
We had a lesson with V! She talked to her son and he was about ready to fly out this weekend when he heard that she wanted to be baptized! We then explained about the interview and finishing lessons so it couldnt be this weekend (sadly). But we are looking forward to that and are just waiting for the son to have another free weekend for him to fly out from Montana to baptize her!
We have been meeting with M and he is doing great! We were thinking about handing him over to the elders because he had been giving us gifts and is so sweet and we were a little worried about rules since he is a single male. BUT we went out to ice cream and had a lesson with him and the elders yesterday and he was just as sweet to them! We determined that he is just a nice guy lol and that we will continue to teach him! He tries to read the Bible every morning for an hour and then he reads the book of mormon for an hour each night! He is keeping all of his commitments and has started praying! He is awesome!
Some of the members from one of my past wards came to visit me at the jail on sunday! They were so sweet and brought me a purse and wallet! They also took a note to my recent convert (T) who is struggling with health again). She is still going strong though! I got to take them on a tour too! They are so sweet. Mom-this is the Morillos (lucia and angel)
I took a tour yesterday that had Alexander Baugh in it (He is like the most known church historian--all the senior couples are obsessed with him and his books) so that was a little stressful! I was just praying that I wouldn't get the history all wrong. But it was actually really cool having him in there! Cause not only did I have all my history confirmed that it was true but he also taught me more!
Elder Christofferson is coming to our mission this Saturday and Sunday! We are excited about that!
Transfers are this thursday. We find out tonight what will happen. I think that I will stay.
Thats about all that I have time for!
I love and miss you all lots!
