Week 69: September 18: Went to the temple today!

This week was so good! We went to the temple again this morning so we had to switch our pday to Tuesday.

So on Tuesday night last week we (I) taught a spanish lesson to a recent convert in our ward! And since my companion doesn't speak spanish and I am wayy out of practice, it was a little hard! But I managed and it strengthened my testimony of companions and that it is so important to have comp unity. We have another lesson this evening with her and I hope that it goes well! She is the cutest little thing! She is 12 years old and will be going to the temple for her first time tomorrow!

We had MLC (mission leadership conference) on Wednesday so that took up pretty much the whole day. But we had a really good lesson with a lady named V that evening. We realized that she lived just outside of our boundaries when we got there so we had to transfer her over to some other sisters but hopefully that is going well!

We met a lady named D R on Friday who literally has had one of the hardest lives ever but she is so faithful. I love seeing people turn to God in times of trials. We taught her the restoration and she accepted it really well! Her son is just getting out of prison so she said she will be busy with that...so we cant meet with her for like another week but hopefully she will continue to progress as well!

On Saturday we got to go back to Santa Fe for MARIAS BAPTISM! Sister Farnsworth and I were the ones that started teaching her and she just got baptized. Literally she is like the cutest thing ever and was just so happy and it brought me so much joy! I'll send pictures of that :)

We met with S T on Friday night and, again, one of the hardest lives I have ever heard of. But she is a less active that is trying really hard to come back to church and get active again. She is so sweet!

Sorry that there isn't much detail to this and its just scatterbrained but it was a really good week and we saw tons of miracles!
